Return Policy & FAQ

What items are considered returnable?

  1. Regular priced items are returnable.
  2. You will be issued a refund to your original form of payment. 
  3. Please visit returns.thelatestscoop.ca to begin your returns process.
  4. Items must be received in new condition with original tags attached. 
  5. Your return must be postmarked 14 days from the original ship date.
  6. Cost of shipping for returns is $5 for Canada.

Please allow 3-6 days to process your refund, your bank should take 5-10 days to post to your account. 

*Due to COVID 19, in order to maintain the health and well being of our team and our customers, we will be working with a reduced staff level. Thank you for your patience as returns may be extended a few days.

  • apothecary
  • underwear 
  • swimwear
  • bodysuits
  • pierced 
  • jewelry 
  • headwear ..hats, headbands 
  • gift cards
  • original shipping costs (if any apply)
  • footwear - if there is significant damage to the shoe box or if the shoe box has been used as the shipping box.


Sale items

Sale items marked 25% or more are considered a final sale. Buying online can come with questions - we are happy to assist with styling or sizing concerns. Please reach out to us a customerservice@thelatestscoop.ca for support.


Exchanges

We recommend returning your order (this applies to regular price items) and repurchasing a new order online. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs. Customers are required to pay a flat fee of $5 for a return label, which will be deducted from their refund.

You can exchange your online purchase in a store, or request store credit.


How to Return

  • see the eligible list above to ensure your item(s) can be returned.
  • Visit returns.thelatestscoop.ca or email customerservice@thelastestscoop.ca for return approval.  
  • ensure the original tags are attached and the item is in new condition.
  • ensure your return is postmarked no later than 14 days from the original ship date - returns received after 14 days will not be accepted.

Holiday Return Policy 

Regular priced Holiday purchases accompanied with a gift receipt may be issued a store credit or exchanged up to January 7th, 2025. 


What if my return is late? 

Any returns received postmarked after 14 days from the original ship date are ineligible for return. 


Price adjustments

We do not adjust the purchase price of any items that have gone on sale or have been further reduced in price.  

Can I return my online order to THE LATEST SCOOP stores? 

We don't process returns for online purchases in our stores. You can exchange for other product or request store credit.


When will I get my refund?

Once we receive your return, please allow 3-6 business days for your return to be processed at our distribution centre and a further 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment. 

*The Latest Scoop is not responsible for shipments not received if there was no tracking and signature required to confirm we received the return.  Please ensure you are repackaging returns carefully as TLS is not responsible for items damaged during the return shipping process.

Business days are Monday- Friday. We do not process returns during holidays or weekends.
